I almost forgot to mention that I successfully installed my 70cm antenna yesterday, and with the computer now connected to the transceiver, I can use my Supercontrol software to make my Yaesu FT-847 crossband repeat. So now I can either sit in the shack to operate, or I can wander the house and neighborhood with my HT as I've been doing, but without worrying about running down the battery in the truck.
